About this product
The Z40 is an aluminium surface mount final exit switch complete with an integral buzzer and integral resistors.
EOL Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 5k6, 4k7.
Alm Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6, 6k8.
These resistors cover the majority of leading panel manufacturers including Honeywell, Texecom, HKC, Risco etc. Configuration of the resistors is achieved by shunt selection on the internal PCB.
A sprung microswitch provides a tamper indication, breaking the circuit when the lid is removed from the unit.
4 terminals are provided on the unit - two for wiring the alarm circuit and two for wiring the internal buzzer.
This exit switch must be used with the integral resistors. It is not suitable for traditional / 4-wire installations. This device operates normally open, closing upon press.
Dimensions: 90x38x30mm.
Security fitting screws are provided in the package, along with an appropriate allen key to fit them.
