The DA1007-RM-8-G is a 7Ah MidspanUPS PoE injector, ideal for 19" rack-mount installation where up to eight devices require reliable battery-backed PoE power. Just 1U in height, the unit delivers up to 30W on each channel and provides Gigabit bandwidth. Simply connect devices for plug-and-play operation.
Each channel comprises an RJ45 data port (e.g. for connection to a network switch) and an RJ45 load port for power and/or data connection to the PoE device. Power continues to be delivered to PoE devices if mains power fails or the data connection to the network is lost.
Individual channels have LED indication to show if a compatible device is connected and powered. There are relay contacts for monitoring the power status of each channel. The unit also has power on LED indication and relay contacts to signal power failure.
With 7Ah of VRLA battery-backed power in a separate unit to minimise use of rack space, tamper protection and status monitoring contacts, these units are ideal for security applications.
