Should I choose Paxton10 or Paxton Net2?

Paxton’s two main access control systems share the same goal — secure, flexible building management — but differ in how they deliver it. Paxton Net2 is the long-established, PC-based access control platform, ideal for sites that just need reliable door and user management. Paxton10, on the other hand, is Paxton’s next-generation system that combines access control and video management in one web-based platform.

Net2 runs via local software, while Paxton10 is browser- and cloud-ready, offering remote management, mobile credentials, and built-in video integration. Net2 remains a solid choice for existing setups or simple installations, but Paxton10 is the future-proof option for sites wanting smart credentials, remote access, and unified security management, and it comes without ongoing license fees!
