About this product

Aidalarm meets the requirements for emergency signalling systems for disabled persons and can help compliance with BS8300, the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and Building Regs Part M.
The A600L is a 240VAC mains powered controller, this unit can also be powered by 12vdc requiring a minimum of 250mA.
This unit is compatable with Hoyles Call Equipment Range. The unit requires either a S1600-R or S1600AL-R ceiling mounted RED pull cord, (optional) Dado panic strip RPD01000 or wall mounted call button S1705PY. Additionally, a S1708A reset button must be fitted to enable the system to be reset at or near the point of calling. An S1778A overdoor light /sounder can be added to give warning in the immediate area.

Note: The LED flash rates on this product range from 1Hz to 4Hz depending on alarm tone chosen. How the Aidalarm works
1. The Aidalarm controller should be sited where staff are located who can respond to an emergency call.
2. A ceiling pull cord, optional Dado panic strip or call buttons are situated in the toilet or other area where assistance may be required.
3. Pulling the cord or pressing the panic strip/call button generates an immediate audible/visual alarm at both the WC area and at the control panel. An LED illuminates on the pull cord giving the caller reassurance that the call has been placed.
4. The call can be silenced by pressing the button on the front of the control panel.
5. The audible indicators at the WC will bleep every 5 seconds to re-assure the caller.
6. Should the cord be pulled again while in the silenced state, the system will call again.
7. Non-attendance will cause the panel to bleep every 40 seconds as a warning.
8. The system can only be reset by the Press to Reset button located at or near the point of call.
