A 12VDC-powered universal relay unit with eight independent DPCO relays on one PCB, mounted in a mild steel tamper-protected enclosure. The unit also has an inhibit line that de-energises all 8 relays when pulled high.
Typical uses include changing the polarity of signals and switching higher currents and voltages. It can also be used as an interface between different systems, e.g. intruder alarm to access control or fire alarm to access control. This unit can also be useful when the control of a number of components (e.g. door locks) needs to be over-ridden by another system (e.g. a fire panel).
