The P01 is a surface mount, two position keyswitch device of die cast aluminium construction.
The unit operates DPDT, with each pole activated by its own PCB mounted microswitch. A third lever microswitch provides tamper detection, triggering when the lid is removed from the unit.
8 terminals are provided for wiring on the PCB. 6 of these terminals provide the common, NC and NO points of each pole while the remaining two are reserved for the tamper switch.
2 keys are supplied with each unit - each unit keyed differently to the next. The switch will latch in place when the key is turned, with the key removable in either position.
