MIFARE DESFire EV1 cards are smartcards that contain memory that enable multiple applications to read and write data to and from the card. MIFARE DESFire EV1 card technology is highly secure and is widely used for access control, cashless vending, corporate ID cards, smart printing / copying, transportation and stadium ticketing. MIFARE DESFire EV1 features mutual three pass authentication using 128 bit AES encryption. DESFire EV1 cards can hold up to 28 different applications and 32 files per application. Each MIFARE DESFire EV1 card has a unique serial number.
