The YA40 is a potted white flush contact, complete with 1 metre of 8 core cable.
This contact is fits a standard 20mm diameter recess and operates at a gap of approximately 20mm. The rectangular plate fits an area of 22x36mm.
A dedicated tamper reed in the housing provides magnetic interference detection, meeting the requirement for Grade 3.
EOL Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6.
Alm Resistors: 1k, 2k2, 4k1, 4k7, 5k6, 6k8.
These resistors cover the majority of leading panel manufacturers including Honeywell, Texecom, HKC, Risco etc. YA40 is unsuitable for 4-wire installations. The integral resistors must be used in the circuit.
Two YA40 contacts can share a zone, depending on the configuration of the alarm panel (see instructions).
YA40 comes complete with fitting screws for immediate installation from the package.
