The Vista VIP Series VIP-NVR3212MP-IQ is a 32-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR), designed for IP-camera surveillance systems. It supports video compression in Ultra 265, H.265, or H.264 formats and can record up to 12MP resolution, choose to output via HDMI (up to 4k) or VGA. It features 16 built-in PoE ports, allowing IP cameras to be connected and powered directly via Ethernet — simplifying installation. Storage is via up to four SATA hard drives (each up to 20 TB), and the recorder uses “ANR” (Automatic Network Replenishment) to ensure recording continuity if network connection is lost.
The “-IQ” tag signals that this NVR supports built-in intelligent video analytics. On compatible cameras, analytics functions include face detection/recognition, vehicle detection, people counting or crowd-density monitoring, intrusion detection (e.g. intrusion / cross-line / area entry/exit), and advanced motion detection (UMD — Ultra Motion Detection) on both camera and NVR side.
