Cat5e cable features four twisted pairs, with each pair having a different twist rate to minimise crosstalk and signal interference. It is suitable for use in Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) networks.

Cat5e cables are fully compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices, including IP cameras, wireless access points and networked security equipment.

Available in 305m lengths, the Vista Cat5e cable range is offered in the following formats:

• PVC sheath for general internal installations
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for environments where reduced smoke and toxic emissions are required
• PE (duct grade) sheath for external and underground duct applications

For complete traceability and installation convenience, all cables are printed with a unique identifier along their length, including Vista branding, cable type, batch information and manufacturing details.

This cable is sequentially metre marked from a larger drum. For ease, users may wish to capture the first metre marking so the length remaining is easier to work out.
