This 8 core Type 2 alarm cable has a white PVC sheath, made for wiring intruder alarm and security systems inside buildings. Eight cores give you enough conductors for multi-zone detector wiring, power and tamper loops on a single run, which keeps installs tidy and reduces the number of cable runs.

The white sheath is a practical choice for surface-mounted runs along walls, skirting and ceilings, where it blends in with typical decor and gives a neat finish. PVC is flexible and easy to strip, clip and terminate, which helps keep install times down.

This cable is intended for internal use and is cut to length available by the metre
