8 Core Type 2 Premium Alarm Cable Direct Burial PE Black cut to length available by the metre

8 Core Type 2 Alarm Direct Burial Black HDPE

• Generally used for connecting alarm equipment such as sensors, control panels and other low voltage circuits
• This cable is ROHS compliant
• High density polyethylene is the most environmentally stable plastic
• A premium alarm cable conforming to BS4737
• An outdoor rated cable designed to be buried under ground without a need for conduit or ducting

This 8 core Type 2 alarm cable has a black HDPE sheath, built for direct burial. That means it can go straight into the ground without ducting, which makes it a good choice for external runs between buildings, to outbuildings, gates, perimeter detection or remote devices.

HDPE gives the sheath good resistance to moisture and abrasion, and the 8 core construction provides enough conductors for multi-zone alarm wiring, detector power and tamper loops on a single run. The black finish is a standard choice for external cable and helps resist UV exposure where the cable surfaces at either end.

For runs that will be pulled through ducting rather than buried, see our 12 core Type 3 PE duct grade alarm cable.

This product is available as a cut to length option.
