Switched either by applying a standard 12V feed to the relay coil or by applying a low current (<1mA) positive ‘trigger’ input.
Typical uses include changing the polarity of signals and switching higher currents and voltages (30VDC max). It can also be used as an interface between different systems, e.g. intruder alarm to access control or fire alarm to access control.
