Works in conjunction with the Chatterbox TAM401WP. The TAM401WP allows eight different voice messages to be played by activating one of the eight inputs. Multiple sensors could be installed to enable different voice messages to be played on the Chatterbox TAM401WP.

The PIR sensor is a single sensor, giving up to 90° of coverage. Designed to automatically switch when presence is detected. High quality Passive Infra-Red detector using double element, high density, precision optics, providing you with a very responsive and reliable sensor.

PIR sensors work best when a person’s movement is across the face of the sensor, and not towards the sensor. This is because the person would cross more detection beams, this often means that the best place for the sensor is on the corner, looking down the side of the building.

The sensor should be mounted at a height of between 2.5 to 3 metres on a rigid, vibration free vertical surface.

Do not locate the sensor near heater flues, air conditioning equipment, etc. this will emit warm moving air and will probably cause a false activation.

Do not locate the sensor close to trees, plants or other shrubbery, as they will emit infrared energy and could possibly cause a false activation.
