The YM10 is a robust surface contact with a removable aluminium cover. 8 terminals, two reeds and a tamper switch are provided inside the housing for wiring. This contact is designed with the use of the installers preferred resistors in mind. The terminals are of brass, screw down construction.
Tamper protection is provided by a lever microswitch, detecting removal of the contact cover. A second reed provides detection of magnetic interference, meeting Grade 3 requirements.
YM10 will operate at a gap of approximately 20mm. Fitting screws are provided in the package.
This contact uses side cable entry, with both magnet and contact measuring 170x24x24mm.
