The KP4 is a double end push latching panic button. 6 terminals are provided in the housing - two alarm contacts, two tamper contacts and two spares.
Tamper protection is provided by a leaf tamper, which detects when the lid is removed.
This panic button activates via a magnet placed in the slide mechanism. When pushed, the reed circuit is broken, providing the alarm signal. This operation can be switched to normally open by changing the position of the magnet in the slide. Both buttons must be pressed to send the alarm signal.
Once pushed, this panic button can be reset using the provided key.
Dimensions: 66x83x28mm.
Also available in black with stainless steel fascia - use part code KP4S.
Also available in black with brass fascia - use part code KP4B.
