Optex Recessed Wired Curtain PIR Detector (6m)

The Optex AP-20NB is a compact, discreet recessed mount wired PIR detector that can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. It creates a 6 m narrow curtain or plane detection area, covering 6.0 x 1.0 m from a 4.5 m ceiling height or 6.0 x 4.5 m from a 1.5 m wall height, to alert of movement close to windows, doors or in corridors. Installation can be recessed or into an 86-type box, and detection sensitivity is adjustable between high, medium and low. It runs on 9.5 to 16 V DC, drawing 11 mA on standby at 12 V DC, and provides an N.O./N.C. alarm output rated at 28 V DC 200 mA with a tamper function. The 50 g detector measures 52 mm in diameter by 42.5 mm deep and operates indoors from -20°C to +50°C.
