The IGUIC-24JB provides the connection between one door and a standard 24 V IGUIC controller.

The junction box connects to the main controller using two RJ45 cables. Door-side equipment is then connected to clearly defined screw terminals within the junction box.

Typical connections include:

• 24 VDC door lock or maglock

• Request-to-exit button

• Red and green indicators

• Door contact

• Lock monitor

• Break-glass or emergency-release device

• Access-control release

• Automatic-door interface

• Programmable relay connections

One door interface is required for each door connected to an IGUIC4-24 or IGUIC8-24 controller. Individual IGUIC-24JB units are particularly suitable where the interfaces are installed locally near each door.

For standard IGUIC controllers, one door interface is required for each connected door. The interfaces may be installed individually or grouped in combined four-way or eight-way enclosures, depending on the number of doors and the preferred wiring arrangement.
