Inside Sales Apprentice Level 3

We have two apprentice vacancies to join our dynamic internal sales team of 40, supporting B2B customers in the security distribution sector. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll learn to manage accounts, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while developing core business administration skills.

Hours: 37 Hours - Monday-Thursday 9 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Location: Norbain SD, Faraday Court, Blackpool Technology Park, Faraday Way, Blackpool, FY2 OJH

Salary: £19,000 per annum - Please refer to the current National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice.

Vista Technical Product Engineer

We are pleased to announce an opening for a Technical Product Engineer to join our experienced Vista product team. Vista are the in-house electronic security brand for Norbain Security, one of the UK’s leading security systems distributors.

This role involves managing our extensive range of CCTV and security solutions. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to expand their knowledge and advance their career by working with a diverse array of products and partners, while learning from our team of engineers.

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in technology, particularly in electronics, computing, and networking. Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and prior experience in a technical field are encouraged to apply, but we also welcome those earlier in their careers who can demonstrate a track record of quickly learning and applying new technical skills from past experiences.

You should have a keen eye for detail, be well organised, and have an analytical and methodical approach to your work. Good communication is key, and you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. More details on the role are below:

Product Technology Covered

• IP / Analogue / Software / App / Mechanical

Testing

• Test product performance against the specification and requirements.
• Test conformance and compatibility with 3rd party systems.
• Identify issues, evaluate solutions, and resolve them.

Improve

• Provide feedback for product improvement by collaborating with the product team. developers and the in-house product team.

Document

• Create technical documentation/media to help our customers.
  Track and log activity and product changes/versions.

Educate

• Work with the product team to ensure awareness of features and functionality.
• Collaborate with other departments for feedback and understand new requirements/feature requests.
