The AXIS F2180-TE is a discreet thermal sensor unit that remotely monitors temperatures from -10°C to 450°C and triggers temperature-based events. It uses an uncooled VOx microbolometer with 160 x 120 pixels, a 57° horizontal field of view and a thermal sensitivity below 50 mK. Up to four polygonal detection areas can be configured, with alerts when a threshold is passed, when temperature rises or falls too quickly, or when areas deviate from one another. Built on the Axis modular camera concept, the 47 g sensor connects over an SMA connector and can be placed up to 30 m from the AXIS F91 Mk II main unit it requires. With AXIS F9114-R Mk II, up to four thermal and visual sensor units can be used at the same time. The aluminium casing is rated IP66, IP67 and IP6K9K when paired with a cable of the same rating, suiting machinery, vehicles and tight spaces.
