Knight Grade 1, Single End Push Panic Button with Stainless Steel Fascia (Non-Latching)

The KP2S is a single end push non-latching panic button. 6 terminals are provided in the housing - two alarm contacts, two tamper contacts and two spares. Tamper protection is provided by a leaf tamper, which detects when the lid is removed. This panic button activates via a magnet placed in the slide mechanism. When pushed, the reed circuit is broken, providing the alarm signal. This operation can be switched to normally open by changing the position of the magnet in the slide. As a non-latching unit, this unit will automatically reset to the unpushed position when the button is released. Dimensions: 66x83x28mm. Also available in plain white - use part code KP2.
